A Pfizer office worker stole over £150,000 from her bosses to fund and expensive Lifestyle.

Carol Jones who was sentenced at Manchester Crown Court along with her husband for 19 months for stealing Viagra to fund holidays and spending sprees.

Apparently her husbands business was struggling but the couple managed to have a lifestyle like of “Keeping up with the Joneses”, Manchester Crown Court heard.

But they were caught out in spring 2007 when bosses at Pfizer became suspicious of why money had vanished.

Jones kept her husband “under the radar” while working with him to get payment from Pfizer for overpriced work. The couple also billed a firm responsible for facilities management for “phantom” work Pfizer had already paid for.

The couple, of Winsford, Cheshire, were convicted of false accounting, deception and fraud. Jones was jailed for 16 months and her husband for 19 months.

The new service  is restricted to men from 40-65 years old, and will have to go through a phsyical which includes a medical questionairre a diabetes check and cholesterol test. This is all well and good but most men who buy Viagra buy on-line due to the embarrassment factor and a walk-in scheme for me just doesn’t work.

My local Boots & Tesco for instance is in a small town where most people know your business before you do, walking in to my supermarket and asking for Viagra it just something I would never do.

Therefore my opinion is look on-line for registered Pharmacies its just as safe and in expensive plus its discreet why have the world knowing you cant get an erection.

Effects of Viagra

So far Viagra has been the biggest seller of all medication year upon year, and it never seems to be to far out of the news some way or another.

So far this year, we have had Dogs & babies saved my taking Viagra tablets for heart conditions, women being able to get pregnant when unable before from taking Viagra UK all good things so far.

But there have been reports this year of things turning out not so well for people who have tried Viagra. For example take the man who tried to much viagra and his vision went blue, pretty annoying hey.

Or new reports coming out that you can now go deaf from taking Viagra, well atleast you wont have to hear the wife going on…

And last of all the German rocker who went on a weekend booze, women & Viagra binge and couldn’t see straight for days afterwards, not to convinced about that one I would imagine other factors like drugs & alcohol came in to play.

The Bad image of the Pill

Why does the pill have a bad image? Contraception on the whole challenges strong patriarchal traditions. It took Japan 40 years to register the pill but only six months to approve Viagra UK. Fake Amazon “Deal of the Day” emails doing rounds

Fake Amazon newsletters have lately become regular visitors in inboxes around the world.

With “Amazon.com Deal of the Day” in the subject line, coming from seemingly legitimate Amazon email addresses, and looking a lot like legitimate newsletters with product endorsements coming from the online retail giant, the spam campaign was probably pretty successful.

A click on any image or link embedded into the email would lead the victim to a possibly malicious site.

According to the various entires on Amazon’s forum, similar messages that contained endorsements for Viagra UK and other pharmaceuticals instead of items on sale at Amazon. A quick roll-over over the links with the mouse revealed all of them to be directed to a Russian domain.

As one of the forum visitors commented, the problem with this kind of email is that the text is the same as in the legitimate Amazon emails, so if she labels it as spam, her email filter will block every future Amazon email of this kind.

Brits are living longer & longer

one in eight people who turn 50 this year will see the ripe old age of 100 according to a survey found yesterday.

That means the number of  Britain’s who live live to see 100 will soar past 300,000 by 2060

Analysts say the booming number of the very elderly is because of advances in medical treatments and a change in the attitudes and lifestyles of the over-50s.

A survey conducted by Saga found that 76 per cent of over-50s are giving themselves a better chance of reaching 100 by being healthier than they have ever been before

Forty-six per cent said they were taking more exercise, 19 per cent said they had climbed a mountain recently and 23 per cent said they had run at least a mile while in their 50s.

One in seven entrants in this weekend’s London Marathon is over 50.

Six in ten over-50s play brain-training computer games and one in eight men over 50 claim to have taken Viagra UK in the past five years.

Only 15 per cent of those of over 50 smoke cigarettes – compared to 40 per cent in the 1970s – and they are four times more likely to take health supplements.

Study Explores Possibility of a Female Viagra

New research might be bringing science a bit closer to a female version of Viagra UK.

In a study that explored the underlying processes of female sexual arousal, British-based researchers say they have learned more about how new treatments might be developed to help women with sexual arousal disorder.

In tests on female lab animals, a team from the drug maker Pfizer found that electrical stimulation of the pelvic nerve increases blood flow to the genitalia. This effect was enhanced if the animals were given an experimental drug called UK-414,495, which is believed to block the breakdown of a chemical messenger that plays a crucial role in increasing blood flow during sexual arousal.

Blood flow to the vagina, labia and clitoris increases when a woman is sexually aroused. The increased blood flow causes the organs to swell and the vagina to relax, and also increases vaginal lubrication and genitalia sensitivity, according to background information in a news release about the study.

“Before this work, we knew surprisingly little about the processes that control all of these changes,” lead researcher Chris Wayman said in the news release. “Now [that] we are beginning to establish the pathways involved in sexual arousal, scientists may be able to find ways of helping women who would like to overcome FSAD [female sexual arousal disorder].”

Women with FSAD find arousal difficult and their genital organs don’t respond to sexual stimulation. The condition affects up to 40 percent of women of all ages, the study authors said.

“While the particular chemical compound studied in this research did not prove appropriate for further development, the implications of the research could lead to the development of a product in future,” Wayman said in the news release.
